About Us
We'd love to meet you in advance of the wedding (in person or through a video chat/phone call) so we can get to know one another a bit beforehand. Here's a quick introduction.
Reuben grew up in rural Vermont, but has lived most of his adult life between NYC and Vancouver BC before recently returning to the good ol' green mountain state. He has a love for the outdoors, a good cup of coffee and travelling. Reuben started with film photography and learned printing in the darkroom about 10 years ago. He also gained insights into camera work and lighting for video on tv/movie production sets in NYC. Reuben believes great photographs should not just capture the moment, but should instead capture the feeling and atmosphere.
Franziska (Franzi) is from Bavaria, Germany. She loves animals, adventures in the mountains and getting cozy by the fire with a cup of tea. Franzi's primary goal with wedding photography/videography is preserving the memory and feeling of the time spent together. She especially loves to capture the raw, candid moments that aren't forced or scripted. It is her goal to capture photos that rekindle the special memories of the time shared together and the emotions experienced, even when viewed years later.

Frequently Asked Questions
How will I receive the images and/or video?
We deliver your edited images and video files (if applicable) to you in a password-protected online gallery. You can download all of your content as much as you like and share the link and password with friends and family as you choose.
Does the private image gallery expire?
We will keep your gallery online for you for as long as we have a website.
Do I need to pay each time I want to get prints?
Feel free to get them printed as much as you like from a printer of your choosing using the high resolution files you can download through your private gallery. If you'd like some exceptionally high quality prints using original camera RAW files, we also offer a printing service. You'll find these available for purchase in your private gallery.
Do you use flash?
In general, we shoot a lot of the photos just with natural or ambiant lighting, when the situation calls for it we like to use some constant video lighting. Depending on the situation/atmosphere we also sometimes use studio strobes (off-camera flash).
How many photos will I get?
This depends on the package you choose, but we do not impose artifical limits. You can expect roughly 20-60 images per hour per photographer, all of which are individually edited for color and style and organized so you can quickly see our personal favorites.
What precautions are you taking regarding COVID 19?
We are both fully vaccinated against COVID 19. We will try our best to maintain social distancing and will wear a mask when appropriate or by request.
Do I also get the raw video footage?
Absolutely, just ask and we'll send it to you.
Why do you recommend two photographers?
Two photographers is actually fairly standard for wedding photography. The key moments at a wedding only happen once and it is nice to have more than one angle or that extra assurance that you get the photo. Also, there are often two important things happening at once, e.g. the bride entering and the groom's reaction.
What cameras do you shoot with?
We use a few different full-frame mirrorless cameras as our primary tools. We also use a couple 35mm film cameras to get the pleasing unique aesthetic only achievable with film.
How long will it take to get my edited photos/video?
We strive to get everything back to you as quickly as possible without sacrificing on quality. We will get previews to you within a week or two and the final polished version of everything to you within a couple months.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes, (some venues require insurance) we are happy to provide proof on request.
Is there a charge for travel and setup time?
We don't charge for setup or takedown time. We also don't charge for travel if it is within an hour or so of Randolph VT. For destinations much further away please contact us and we will work out the details.
What is required to officially book with you?
A signed contract and 50% deposit.
